Choice of material
Ubed has eliminated the use of foam. We only use 3D polyester and metal springs. Without gluing it, to guarantee the modular construction. 3D polyester stays at a better temperature at night than foam, is more hygienic and 100% recyclable.
Maintenance and hygiene
Ideal choice if you are looking for a fresh and/or anti-allergic mattress.
- The top of the mattress cover is easy to zip off and washable at 40 degrees.
- You can rinse the 3D polyester top layer in the shower.
- You can vacuum the inside to completely refresh your mattress.
Free shipping and returns
All mattresses are shipped free of charge in a box. A mattress comes in parts, it is, as it were, a construction kit. Your mattress is personalized based on your desired hardness. That is why you will receive a manual from us in advance so that you can assemble your mattress with a number of instructions.
100 days of trial sleep
You can test sleep on every Ubed mattress for 100 nights. Have you discovered that the mattress does not suit you quite well? Then you can complete a return request to return the mattress for free. This is possible after 30 days, as this period is necessary to get used to your mattress.
Longevity and durability
Normal mattresses last a maximum of 10 years, because the top layer that is in more direct contact with the sleeper becomes 'material tired' sooner. We have come up with something about that. Ubed mattresses are modular, which means that you can replace parts separately. The old materials? We would like that back. All materials are 100% recyclable.

Why does Ubed not use foam, latex or natural filling, but does use 3D polyester?
This is due to the shortcomings of the other materials in terms of temperature, hygiene and lifespan. Firstly, 3D polyester has higher air and moisture permeability, which ensures an ideal sleeping temperature (as much as 2 degrees cooler). Secondly, 3D polyester stays fresher due to ventilation, but you can also wash and rinse it. Finally, we do not glue 3D polyester, so you can replace the layer separately for a longer lifespan. Moreover, 3D polyester is 100% recyclable.
I would like to try out the mattresses, is that possible?
Certainly! You can always do a 100-day trial sleep at Ubed. Would you rather test the mattress before you go to sleep? Then you can visit one of our locations to test different models and hardnesses.
How does the 100 days of hardness adjustment and trial sleep work?
Day 0:
- Your mattress arrives, you can sleep peacefully!
Between day 30 and day 100:
- Is your mattress right straight away? Then of course you don't have to do anything! Do you notice that you really have a mattress that is too hard or too soft? Then you can contact us.
- We will send you a layer for free to get the hardness right. After about a month we will contact you to discuss the experience. If it turns out not to be a match, we will start the return process. See the conditions .
How and within what period is a mattress shipped?
Mattresses are shipped in multiple boxes. It is, as it were, a construction kit, simple and of course with instructions. You will receive your boxes at the same time within 6 weeks at the latest.
Which bed base can the mattress fit on?
A Ubed mattress can be used on any type of bed base, even electrically adjustable ones.
