If you choose foam or latex layers, you will see that the mattress warms up faster during the night. That is why at Ubed we use polyester for the top layer and the cover. These 3D Climate layers provide excellent temperature and moisture regulation, are easy to keep fresh and offer personal comfort.
The presence of comfort zones: you have pocket spring mattresses without zones, but also with 3, 5, 7 or sometimes even 9 zones. These zones, for example your hips, back and shoulders, ensure that you sink into the mattress more easily in your heavier parts, so you get a natural position when you lie on the mattress. At Ubed we offer 7-zone pocket spring mattresses, this is the maximum number of zones you need to get sufficient support.
The quality of the springs: this is more difficult to determine as a customer, as companies do not communicate directly about this. Therefore, feel free to talk to the seller, whether online or offline. In addition, people often talk about the quantity of feathers, but this is less important than the quality. The quantity is often used as a way to promote certain models.

A pocket spring mattress can be used on any type of bed base, provided it has sufficient ventilation. This is not a problem with Ubed, as the mattress also provides optimal ventilation on the sides. You can even place our pocket spring mattress on an electrically adjustable bed base.
Should you turn a pocket spring mattress?
No, if you buy a higher quality mattress, this is not necessary. A pocket spring mattress with a top layer is constructed from bottom to top in a certain order, so when you turn the mattress over, the structure of the materials is no longer the same and you lose comfort and support.
Is a pocket spring mattress durable?
That depends on what kind of material is used. Metal springs are 100% recyclable, but if you bond them with foam types such as cold foam and memory foam, recycling becomes very difficult.
